Dr. Irina Chernyshkova, MD

I am a double board-certified psychiatrist with training in general psychiatry and the connection between mental and physical health. I offer both medication management and cognitive behavioral therapy. My approach is collaborative and based on evidence. I help patients understand what they’re experiencing, develop practical ways to cope, and use medication carefully and only when it’s truly helpful. I offer in-person visits in Glastonbury and West Hartford, as well as secure telepsychiatry.

Many of my patients are high-functioning adults who seem successful on the outside but feel overwhelmed on the inside. They may struggle with anxiety, depression, trouble sleeping, stress, past trauma, or ADHD symptoms that affect focus, relationships, and daily life. They’re looking for clarity, emotional balance, better sleep, and a stronger sense of control—not just quick relief, but lasting improvement.

Reaching out for help can feel overwhelming, especially if you’re used to handling everything on your own. You don’t have to go through stress and life’s challenges alone. If you’re ready for thoughtful, personalized care focused on real change, I invite you to reach out and take the first step toward feeling more balanced and in control.
